From Annoying Over-Achiever to Finding Her Fierce -- Episode 001

Your host, Ellen Line, LCSW-C, takes you inside her healing journey.

In ROAR’s first-ever episode, I’m solo sharing my healing journey:

  • when I started religious deconstruction and the books and Bible studies that sent me on that path

  • how the dynamics in my family of origin manifested in unhealthy patterns in my first marriage

  • some stories from therapy, yoga classes, and my brief career as a Burlesque performer

  • the moment I chose myself and how it ultimately ended my marriage

  • unconventional healing experiences, featuring bath time, casual sex, and so many (not therapy) conversations

  • returning to church

  • where I’m at now
