In ROAR’s first-ever episode, I’m solo sharing my healing journey:
when I started religious deconstruction and the books and Bible studies that sent me on that path
how the dynamics in my family of origin manifested in unhealthy patterns in my first marriage
some stories from therapy, yoga classes, and my brief career as a Burlesque performer
the moment I chose myself and how it ultimately ended my marriage
unconventional healing experiences, featuring bath time, casual sex, and so many (not therapy) conversations
returning to church
where I’m at now
